Our Dogfish Shark Rigs are hand made, hand crimped, ready to slay big sharks. We Make our J Hook rigs with a 9/0 4x Gamakatsu Octopus hooks paired with 135lb cable and a 600lb Swivel. We also .ake that same rig with 2 hooks with an 8" gap in between the 2 hooks.

What Can I Catch With This Rig?

How Do I Use These Shark Rigs?

• First decide if you are going to use a weight to keep your bait on the bottom or if you are going to use a balloon or float.
• If you are going to use a weight attach to your mainline then tie your mainline to the swivel to the top of the rig. (Usually we recommend just using a slip on style weight.) (If using a balloon or float attach after you tie to the top swivel on the rig.)
• Pick out your favorite bait and hook on to the hook. We recommend using a hardy bait that will stay on the hook.
• Cast out and weight for the bite.
